My name is Vika. But you can just call me Angel. I used to love spending time here and I still do, even though I took a long break. Three whole years. During that time, I fully dedicated myself to volunteering and helping our Ukrainian army, our defenders who protect us from the enemy. But the time has come when I realized I cant do it alone anymore.

She raised me when my mother wasnt able to. Im deeply grateful to her for everything for her love, her strength, and the warmth she gave me. In real life, I accompany wounded soldiers during their rehabilitation. We go to bowling alleys, zoos, cinemas, we organize fishing trips, hikes in the mountains, rock climbing in Veskovy, go-karting, kayaking and we also help veterans take part in national sports tournaments.

These are not just fun activities they are part of helping our defenders reconnect with life. I show them the city I now live in. I simply spend time with them offering support, warmth, and human presence after everything theyve been through. I do all of this from the heart. Because in this world full of pain after war, I myself am without a home.

I live in a rented apartment. Every month, rent and utilities take nearly everything I earn. I havent bought myself any new clothes or personal items in a long time. Only whats necessary just to survive. I dont have biological children, but I take care of several orphans. One girl is almost grown now she lost both of her parents and is completely alone.

I do my best to be there for her, to help her feel not forgotten. Ive worked as a barista, a cook, made pizzas, cleaned homes Ive taken on any job I could find. I never said no to work. Ive always done everything with dignity and gratitude. But even working every single day isnt enough anymore. I used to enjoy being here.

I loved to play, to dance, to be that woman full of life, in her body, real and tender, ready to embrace your dreams. And I liked it. It made me feel alive.
