Protective Custody

The mob boss's girlfriend is going into protective custody: thirty days alone in a cabin with the FBI agent assigned to keep her alive. His one rule is no involvement with the witness, and she has nothing to do but break him.

Protective Custody is a tense, adult drama series from Secrets Originals that follows the volatile romance between a powerful mob boss and the stunning witness, Vanessa. After Vanessa steps forward as a key witness against organized crime, her life shifts dangerously when she is placed under twenty-four-hour surveillance by a stoic FBI agent. The series is set in a series of isolated cabins where the couple is forced to spend thirty days together, cut off from the outside world and subjected to strict protocols designed to keep her alive. The narrative explores the unspoken tension between a forbidden love and the ruthless rules of the law. The agent's only directive is non-involvement, yet Vanessa's presence proves impossible to ignore or allow to fade away. As they navigate the delicate balance of danger and desire, the story examines how their opposite worlds collide, turning every quiet moment into a potential crisis and every goodbye into a heavy promise of reunion. The chemistry between the two leads drives the plot forward as they grapple with loyalty, survival, and an undeniable attraction that defies their assigned roles. Each of the three episodes is a short-form experience, running just a few minutes each, making them perfect for a quick binge on a single device. Viewers can watch Rule #1, No Wifi, or Then Break It individually, yet they form a cohesive emotional arc that pulls them from one immersive encounter to the next. The minimalist runtime allows the focus to remain intensely on the characters' expressions, the atmosphere of the cabin, and the simmering stakes without the need for long dialogue or complex setups. Protective Custody delivers a sophisticated blend of suspense and intimacy designed for audiences who appreciate smart, fast-paced storytelling. By keeping the runtime brief and the pacing tight, the series ensures that the tension remains palpable from the opening scene to the final frame. This limited series is an invitation to step into a world where trust is the most scarce resource, and the line between protection and possession is dangerously thin.
