One of the reasons Im able to stay calm, positive and genuinely enjoy what I do is because Im very protective of my personal boundaries. If I tried to keep up with everyone who simply wants to chat with me, I wouldnt have the time or energy to enjoy my work and my life the way I do. One boundary is especially important: if you send me your sexual fantasies in a crude or disrespectful way, especially without first knowing whether Im comfortable with that kind of conversation, you will be permanently banned without warning.
My Life & Personality. I really love a peaceful life. I ride my bike and roller skate, go for long walks around New York, drink probably too much coffee, and can happily disappear into a good book for hours. I love cooking, taking care of my home, spending time with my dog, watching movies and just making my life better day by day. Im also a huge planner Im always planning something. At the same time, I secretly love when something unexpectedly good appears in the middle of my perfectly planned day and changes everything.
My perfect weekend would probably start with pouring freshly brewed coffee into a thermos, getting in the car and taking my dog somewhere with a beach, a forest or a park. After a long walk, Id come home and make one of my favorite breakfasts. I love Russian food the most, so Id probably make cheese pancakes with Greek yogurt and fresh berries, or buckwheat with eggs, veggies and greens.
Then Id spend two hours choosing my outfit and getting ready before finally heading into the city maybe to a museum, theater, exhibition or somewhere I havent been before. Later, Id find a nice place for pasta, Georgian food or something simple like roasted chicken with potatoes and salad, have a glass of wine or a cocktail, walk around the city for a while, and pick up some dessert or chocolate on the way home.
Eventually, Id walk my dog, take a shower, collapse on the couch with a movie and end the day with a little tea ritual properly brewed, high-quality loose-leaf tea and whatever sweets I brought home. My sense of humor is pretty simple naturally funny, spontaneous moments make me laugh much more than something obviously staged.
Im also not easily offended by slightly inappropriate or rough humor when its actually funny and nobody is being deliberately hurt. I also love learning, especially languages. I work on my English every single day, and Im slowly learning Mandarin Chinese in small steps, both with a tutor and on my own. Its still a very difficult language for me, but I enjoy the process. I recently started learning Spanish through YouTube videos too, although so far I can only remember a few words. Im in no rush other than English, I study languages simply out of curiosity and to broaden my horizons.
Music is a big part of my life too. If youve seen my Experience Wishlist, you can probably tell that I have a special love for American hip-hop and rap The Weeknd, Drake, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Eminem and many others are regulars in my playlists. But honestly, my music taste is all over the place, and I enjoy many different genres.
Even though Im Russian, Ive always preferred American music. I almost never listen to modern Russian music once in a while I might put on some really old Russian hits for the nostalgia, but thats about it. I also have a soft spot for Mexican music. I dont even need to understand every word it instantly puts me in a good mood. If I randomly hear it playing somewhere in public, theres a very good chance Ill start dancing a little without even realizing it.
Movies & TV. Like probably half of my generation, Harry Potter is my forever favorite. Ive been rewatching all the movies about every three months for most of my life, and somehow Im still not tired of them. I was also lucky enough to see *Harry Potter and the Cursed Ch*ld* on Broadway, which was a very special experience for me.
I grew up with American culture, so its probably not surprising that I ended up living here. I love many popular American movies, especially old Disney cartoons from the last century and romantic movies like The Holiday. I love that warm and cozy feeling that some movies can give you, and I can watch them again and again.
One thing you will almost never see me watching is horror. I simply cant handle horror movies and honestly dont even want to try. My favorite TV series of all time is House M.D. I really admire the writing and directing, but what impresses me the most is the depth of the story and how beautifully they show friendship, love, life and the choices people make.
I also really love The Office. It looks like a simple show about ordinary people and their everyday lives, but there is so much more behind all the awkward humor and funny situations. At the same time, there are very popular shows that I know are good, but I just dont connect with them that much. Game of Thrones is probably the best example. I think its a good series and I understand why so many people love it, but it just never became one of my favorites.
When it comes to people, I naturally get along with those who are kind to animals, respect the personal boundaries of every living creature, dont neglect their health, respect shared spaces, and are simply considerate of the people around them. My Experience Wishlist. I have a list of goals and dreams that have nothing to do with money. These are simply experiences I would love to have at least once in my life. I would love to appear in a music video for an artist like The Weeknd, Drake, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Post Malone, or Eminem. I don't need a big role even a couple of seconds would make me happy. I would want to be fully dressed, with no lingerie and nothing sexual or provocative. I just want to experience what it's like to be on the set of a major music video.
I would love to spend one day at BlackRock's New York office with someone who works there. I'm incredibly curious about what a normal working day looks like inside a company like that the atmosphere, the offices, the meetings, and how people actually work there. I don't want a job there; I just want to see that world from the inside for a day.
I would love to spend a day behind the scenes on a real film or TV production in New York something connected to Netflix, Hulu, HBO/Max, Apple TV+, Amazon MGM Studios, NBCUniversal, Paramount, or another major production company or studio. I don't care about getting paid and I'm not looking for an acting role. I simply want to be there, quietly observe the filming process, see how the crew works, and experience what a professional set is actually like from the inside.
