My biggest dream is to become a paediatric surgeon. I want to stand in an operating room and give a second chance at life. But beyond that, I dream of something simpler: I want to feel at home here. I want to wake up one morning and realise that German no longer sounds like a code to crack, but like my own language. I want to have friends I can call at midnight, a favourite local bakery where they know my name, and the quiet confidence that I belong exactly where I am.
