The isolation gave me enough space to grieve without bothering others or triggering myself further. Nothing beats catching every sunset, falling asleep with a view of the milky way, and waking up as soon the sun comes up. My circadian rhythm is naturally more balanced when all of my senses are regularly exposed to the outdoors. I love it when wildlife distracts me from my thoughts. As an artist, I am inspired and invigorated by the variety of scenery. Believe me when I say, that each day hits different when you aren't distracted and rushed by the hustle of the city. Don't get me wrong, I have come to love the city life from time to time, and there are several benefits to having a roof over my head. I highly prioritize making my "home" a place I enjoy being, especially since it is also my "office". I still find comfort being on the road, if not just in my car, where there are big windows, a view I can change, the choice to feel the wind or control the temperature, and everything I need is within reach ad always with me.
