My name is Mia, and I'm 18 years old. Recently, I made perhaps the boldest move of my lifeI moved to the Netherlands to study to become a veterinarian. It's a country of bicycles, tulips, and endless pastures, and it seems I fall a little more in love with it every day. My love for animals is what defines me. Since childhood, I couldn't imagine my life without our smaller brotherswhether it was a stray kitten or a neighbor's dog. Over time, this attachment grew into something more; I started seriously getting into horse riding. For me, horses aren't just animals; they are friends capable of understanding you without words, sensing your mood, and trusting you.

But my nature can't stand stillness. That's probably why my life has changed so much. In the past, I poured a lot of energy into street dancing, especially breakdancing. Those dynamic movements, the ability to feel the rhythm and improvisethey still live within me. Now, that rhythm has found a new expression: I play the drums. There's nothing better than releasing emotions in a loud, energetic session after a long day of studying.

I also bake cakes. My friends say it sounds strange to list that alongside breakdancing and studying to be a vet, but for me, there's no contradiction. Creating multi-layered desserts, decorating them, inventing new flavor combinationsthat's my meditation, my way of slowing down and savoring the moment. After all, life, like a good cake, should be vibrant, diverse, and leave a pleasant aftertaste.
