Hi! My name is Luna, Im 18, and Im a first-year university student. I chose a creative field one where I can feel, explore, and express myself, even if sometimes its hard to explain exactly what Im creating. University turned out to be a completely different world. Theres more freedom than I expected, and with it a kind of responsibility Im not always ready for. Sometimes I catch myself thinking that Im already an adult, making my own decisions and building my life. And other times, I feel like Im still searching for support, trying things out, making mistakes, and learning not to be afraid of that.
I love evenings more than mornings when the city softens, the lights blur, and it feels like time slows down. In those moments, its easier to hear myself. In my backpack, theres always a notebook filled with scattered thoughts, headphones, and a couple of just in case things, even though Im not quite sure what for.
Sometimes I get tired of people, expectations, and my own doubts. But then something small appears: a conversation, a song, a line that suddenly hits right in the heart and I feel like Im moving in the right direction again. Im 18, Im a student, and Im still in the process. Learning to understand myself, not to compare, to let go of what I dont need, and to appreciate the moments that make me who I am. Because this is just the beginning. Quiet, a little strange, but real. And its mine.
Learn to go to bed on time instead of at 3:47 a.m. thinking okay, this is definitely the last episode. Drink water like a normal person not only remembering it when my body is already drafting its will. Reply to messages right away or at least not after three business days and an internal crisis. Handle tasks before the deadline instead of running a do everything overnight and survive marathon.
Stop buying snacks for a rainy day and eating them the same evening. Learn to say no especially to myself when Im about to order something unnecessary again. Create a perfect daily routine and actually follow it for at least one (1) day. Stop losing my keys, card, phone, and sense of purpose all at once.
Stop googling symptoms and diagnosing myself with yep, this is the end. Start working out or at least stop counting taking the stairs as a full workout. Get ready and leave the house without saying Im late again like its my life motto. Stop putting everything off for later, because that later is already tired of waiting for me.
