My Schedule
I'm 18, I study at a music school: the morning begins with solfeggio and ends with rehearsals until dark. My instrument is the violin, and in a symphony orchestra I feel like Im part of a huge breath: when the brass comes in, my heart seems to change its rhythm. Before the concert, the fingers tremble, but as soon as the conductor raises his hands, the fear dissolves into sound. I dream of traveling around the world - playing in the old halls of Vienna, listening to the ocean in Lisbon, catching the night lights of Tokyo. On the road, I collect melodies like postcards, and in the evenings I write down my themes in a notebook. One day they will become my first symphony - honest, live, mine. I live in a dorm, but in my head there are countries and scores; even silence sounds there. And I believe.
