Im a small-town girl with a big-city heart, finding my place in a world that always seems a bit too fast yet endlessly intriguing. My journey hasnt been the straightest of lines. Originally, I had my sights set on architectureIve always been captivated by the shapes and forms that define our spaces. Drawing was my outlet, a way to understand and appreciate the worlds beauty, and one of my favorite artists is Giovanni Strazza. His ability to capture raw, intricate detail still inspires me every time I pick up a pencil. But life had other plans. After my dad passed away, I had to step up and help my mom, putting my dreams of becoming an architect on hold. Now, Im here to finance my studies, hoping to get back on track and pick up where I left off.
Since then, my curiosity has only deepened. Law is my latest fascination, and Im completely drawn in by the way its woven into every part of life. Its a whole world of logic and debate, and while its very different from architecture, its still an art form in its own way, shaping the world we live in. Alongside my academic interests, Ive been restoring a car I inherited from my grandfather. Every dent and detail has its own story, like a living piece of my familys history. Getting under the hood has been my way of honoring him, and Im learning so much about both him and myself in the process.
My music taste is a deep dive into the underground of the 70s and 80s, full of those artists who never quite got their moment in the sun. Pentagram is my go-to for heavy doom metal, and The Clean gives me that jangly lo-fi punk vibe that keeps my spirits up. For something trippy, its Can or Faust, with their hypnotic, experimental sounds that feel like an escape. And then theres Gil Scott-Heron, a poet who puts me in touch with the pulse of his era.
Im a movie lover too, and mainstream doesnt quite do it for me. Liquid Sky is one of my absolute favorites, with its eerie, avant-garde style thats unlike anything else. Repo Man is my comfort film in its rebellious, sci-fi madness, while The Last Wave gives me chills with its spiritual, haunting mystery. Im always searching for more films like these, ones that make you think and stick with you.
City life has brought out the quirks in me. Im a little strange, but Im here for anyone whos kind and real. A good heart means a lot, especially in a place where everyones rushing somewhere. Im taking life one step at a time, balancing work, studies, drawing, and restoring my granddads car. Its a lot to juggle, but Im exactly where Im supposed to be, making it work with a smile (and maybe a bit of grease on my hands).
