Im Amy, and Ive always felt that helping people is what matters most. From a yang age, I knew I wanted to become a nurse. Right now, Im in college, learning all the ins and outs of the profession, and every morning I wake up with the thought that one day I can make the world a little bit healthier. I dream of a world where all diseases, from the simplest to the most terrifying, are gone, and no one suffers anymore. I truly believe it's possible, and I hope theres a place in my life where I can be part of that change.
Sometimes, it feels like I have this special sense of care, like Im not just helping patients, but becoming part of their lives, their fight to get better. Its not always easyseeing people in pain and not being able to do anything about itbut I know that every day brings me more experience and strength to keep improving and help more people.
When Im not in college, I love walking through the city at night. The night is my time for quiet and peace, when I can step outside and not think about everything, just listening to my music. In my headphones, my favorite songs play, always giving me a sense of calm and strength. Among them are Wicked Game by Chris Isaak, I Was Made for Loving You by KISS, Take Me To Church by Hozier, Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap, and of course, Blinding Lights by The Weeknd. These songs remind me that even in the hardest moments, theres beauty to be found, and they always bring me back to myself.
When I walk, I love watching the city lights, how everything changes in the dark hours. I think about how life fades into the shadows, while you remain in the light, in your little world. Its like a moment of solitude that helps me gather my thoughts and not forget why Im here. I try not to get bogged down by little things, because the world is so big and amazing that every moment can be important. And maybe, through my efforts and a bit of luck, Ill be able to change it for the better, even if its just in a small corner.
