My name is Ashley and I am 18 years old. I have always been a very shy girl. Since childhood, I felt insecure in the company of people and always preferred to stay on the sidelines. My classmates often did not understand me and considered me strange because of my introversion. I tried not to attract attention to myself and spent most of my time alone, reading books or drawing.
Despite my shyness, I always dreamed of becoming a successful designer or researcher. My parents always supported me in my hobbies and helped me develop my talent. Now I am finishing school and preparing to enter university. Although I am scared and impatient to start a new stage of life, I know that my shyness and lack of confidence should not become an obstacle to my dreams.
I hope that with time I will be able to overcome my complexes and become more open and sociable. After all, this is the only way I can.
