Gravenhollow has four pupils, a Ministry placement in the register and one empty bed. Mila arrives in March with a bag, a chipped shoulder and a note that says she is to be housed and nothing else. She has been angry for two years and has no intention of stopping, and the school has been waiting for somebody to shout at it.
The document gets them into the room. The countdown means they cannot leave. The sex is what happens because they are both there and neither of them is any good at talking.
